Hotel Adonis Plaza
A few steps from Plaza de España
Sobre este hotel
Hotel Adonis Plaza sits in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife's historic and commercial centre, just a few steps from the iconic Plaza de España and the city's port, with regular ferry connections onward to the rest of the Canary Islands. Rooms are functional and comfortable, with air conditioning, free WiFi, television, a minibar and a fully equipped private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries. Guests can walk to a wide range of restaurants, cafés and shops without needing transport, and the 24-hour reception covers late check-ins after an evening flight. Tenerife North Airport and San Cristóbal de La Laguna both sit around a twenty-minute drive away, and the lido at Parque Marítimo César Manrique is a short taxi ride along the waterfront, making this a workable base for a family splitting the day between pools and the historic centre.

Nuestra opinión
Hotel Adonis Plaza suits a family that wants to be within walking distance of the port and Plaza de España, whether for an inter-island ferry connection or simply for easy access to the historic centre's restaurants. It is not close enough to the lido to walk there directly, so budget for a short taxi ride each way rather than expecting to stroll.
- ✓Reserve well ahead if you are combining this stay with an inter-island ferry departure from the nearby port.
- ✓Ask for a room away from the plaza-facing side if your children go to bed early, since the square stays lively into the evening.
- ✓Use the 24-hour reception for late check-in if arriving off an evening flight into Tenerife North Airport.

Por qué encanta a los viajerosWe chose Hotel Adonis Plaza mainly for the ferry connection to La Gomera, and it turned out just as useful for the pool days: a quick taxi along the waterfront each morning, then back to Plaza de España in the evening for ice cream with the kids. The minibar in the room saved us a few late-night trips out when the children woke up thirsty after a day in the sun.
