De gratis shuttle door het centrum en de ligging aan de Riverwalk maken het een goede keuze voor een gezin dat zijn tijd verdeelt tussen de bezienswaardigheden van downtown Tampa en Adventure Island. Voor parkdagen achter elkaar raad ik het minder aan, want je rijdt elke ochtend vanuit Central Tampa naar de ingang van het park en 's avonds weer terug.

Waarom gasten er dol op zijnIk zou The Barrymore Hotel Tampa Riverwalk kiezen voor gezinnen die hun tijd willen verdelen tussen het centrum van Tampa en Adventure Island. Het ligt naast het Straz Center en de Hillsborough River, met een restaurant, een buitenzwembad en een gratis shuttle naar het centrum binnen ongeveer drie kilometer. Het Florida Aquarium ligt tien minuten rijden. Voor parkdagen achter elkaar zou ik het niet kiezen, want je moet elke ochtend rijden.
