Kvitfjell Hotel
A no-frills base one minute from the Kvitfjell lifts
O tym hotelu
Kvitfjell Hotel sits a single minute's walk from the Kvitfjell ski resort, the alpine venue from the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics, with the nearest airport a genuine three-and-a-half-hour taxi ride away. A sauna, ski-in/ski-out access, a restaurant and a bar cover the essentials for a ski or hiking trip without resort-level polish, while breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking round out the practical side. Beite Restaurant & Afterski, two minutes' walk away, gives guests a genuine local dinner option beyond the hotel's own kitchen. Pet-friendly and kid-friendly rooms widen who it suits, and the lift-adjacent location means less time driving and more time actually on the mountain or at the badeland down in Vinstra.

Nasza opinia
This is the down-to-earth pick for lift-adjacent Kvitfjell access without paying for a bigger resort spa, whether skiing in winter or hiking around in the summer months instead. It's not suited to anyone wanting elaborate wellness facilities, since the sauna here is genuinely simple rather than a full spa experience.
- ✓Use the one-minute walk to the Kvitfjell lifts to maximize actual mountain time each day.
- ✓Try Beite Restaurant & Afterski, two minutes away, for an easy dinner without cooking.
- ✓Book pet-friendly rooms ahead if travelling with a dog to this straightforward mountain hotel.

Beite Restaurant & Afterski became our regular dinner spot, and the sauna afterward, while simple, did exactly what we needed after a full day on the Kvitfjell runs together as a family.
