LUMA Hotel - Times Square
A Times Square base with room to spread out
Sobre este hotel
LUMA Hotel - Times Square is a four-star property in Midtown, near Times Square, rated 9.1 out of 10 by recent guests. It is 300 metres from Times Square with an on-site restaurant and bar, which shapes the character of the stay more than any single amenity does. For a DreamWorks Water Park trip, this is honestly a New York City base rather than an on-site stay: American Dream and the Meadowlands sit across the Hudson, reached from here by NJ Transit bus, subway plus PATH, or a drive through the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel. Families traveling with toddlers or teens will find the neighbourhood itself does real work either side of the water park day, with restaurants, transit connections, and city sightseeing all close enough to fill a full day without ever touching a taxi. On balance, the 300-metre walk to Times Square closes out a stay built around energy and convenience rather than quiet.
- Times Square proximity
- On-site bar
- Central Midtown
A nossa opinião
This suits families who want to be in the middle of Times Square energy for the city half of the trip. It suits fewer travelers seeking a quiet base, since this stretch of Midtown runs loud and crowded around the clock. Book directly for the room configuration you need rather than relying on generic photos, since suite layouts vary more than star rating suggests across this list.
- ✓Use the on-site restaurant and bar for a fast dinner before an early DreamWorks Water Park morning.
- ✓Book ahead for school holiday weeks, since Times Square hotels sell out fastest across this list.
- ✓Plan a Broadway show for the city half of the trip, since the Theater District sits right outside.
