About this hotel

Rotermann Urban Art City Escape offers a recently renovated apartment with air-conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and streaming services, alongside a walk-in shower and city views from the unit. Paid on-site private parking is available for a driving family, and private check-in and check-out add convenience for a late arrival. A dining table rounds out the living space. The apartment sits near the Estonian National Opera at 800 metres, with Kalarand a seventeen-minute walk and the Port of Tallinn fourteen minutes out, and Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport four kilometres away, with an ice-skating rink nearby. Paying for guaranteed parking rather than relying on scarce free spots nearby is a trade-off worth making for a family unwilling to gamble on finding street parking after a long day out.

Our take

The recent renovation gives this apartment a fresher finish than some of the area's older listings, and the combination of a dishwasher, air-conditioning and paid on-site parking covers a solid range of practical needs for a driving family. It suits a family wanting a genuinely modern space with reliable amenities, willing to pay for guaranteed parking rather than searching for a free spot elsewhere in the Rotermann Quarter.

  • Confirm the paid parking cost and availability directly with the property ahead of arrival, particularly during busier weeks.
  • Use the dishwasher daily across a multi-night stay, since it handles the mess from regular family meals well.
  • Walk to the Port of Tallinn in around fourteen minutes if your trip includes a ferry connection to Helsinki or Stockholm.

Why guests love it

The recent renovation showed in small details, everything felt fresh and well-maintained compared to an older apartment we'd stayed in on a previous Tallinn trip. Having paid on-site parking meant we didn't spend our first evening after Kalev Spa Water Park circling for a spot with two tired kids in the back seat. The fourteen-minute walk to the Port of Tallinn worked well on the day we caught the ferry onward to Helsinki.
