About this hotel

Rebstock keeps things informal: a bar with outdoor seating, a restaurant on site, and free breakfast that gets a family fed and moving before the queues build at Rulantica. It sits in the Rust village cluster rather than on resort grounds, an eight-minute walk from Arthur and a similar distance from Schule, Rust, which puts a short taxi between the room and the water world entrance. Free parking makes it a straightforward pick for a family driving in, and the on-site bar and restaurant mean evenings don't require another car journey once the kids are finally out of their swimsuits. It's a fair-value village base, trading the resort's walk-in convenience for a lower nightly rate and a genuinely local atmosphere in the bar downstairs.

Our take

Rebstock suits a driving family who wants free parking, a home-style breakfast, and an on-site bar and restaurant without paying resort rates. It's not the pick for a family who needs to walk to Rulantica in minutes with a napping toddler; that convenience belongs to the on-site hotels closer to the gates.

  • Ask about the breakfast start time if you're planning an early slides day at Rulantica.
  • Book a taxi in advance for peak season mornings, since the walk to the entrance takes longer than the on-site hotels.
  • Try the on-site bar in the evening; it's a genuinely local spot rather than a resort-style lounge.

Why guests love it

We drove in and Rebstock's free parking and breakfast made the whole trip easier to budget for with two kids in tow. The bar downstairs had a proper local feel, nothing resort-like about it, and the restaurant covered us for a couple of dinners when nobody wanted to go anywhere else. It's a short taxi to Rulantica rather than a walk, which was fine for us since we weren't dealing with nap times anymore.
