Hotel NH Collection Nürnberg City
An airy contemporary base with a gym on site
About this hotel
Hotel NH Collection Nürnberg City sits eight minutes from the New Museum and two from central Nürnberg, giving Altstadt access on foot alongside a contemporary, airy restaurant that suits a family dinner without needing to search for a table elsewhere. The gym gives parents an early-morning option before a long day, whether that's Altstadt sightseeing or the drive out to Kristall Palm Beach in Stein. Nuremberg Airport is roughly twenty to twenty-two minutes away by public transport or taxi. Among the more consistently well-reviewed properties in this whole guide, it works as a reliable, full-service base for a trip balancing the city and the pool, without any real weaknesses in day-to-day comfort.

Our take
This suits families who want a reliable, contemporary Nuremberg base with real Altstadt walking access and an on-site gym. It's a weaker fit for anyone wanting a short transfer out to the pool itself or a hotel offering its own dedicated wellness facility beyond the simple gym here on site.
- ✓Use the gym early before a full day out, whether that's the Altstadt or the drive to Kristall Palm Beach.
- ✓Walk the two minutes into central Nürnberg for an evening out rather than driving anywhere.
- ✓Book breakfast in advance if you want a predictable start before a pool day out in Stein.
