A sea-view terrace above Jaffa Port

About this hotel

Casa Nova's terrace delivers a full sea view from its position above Jaffa Port, a genuine standout compared to city-centre hotels without any water outlook at all. The Old City of Jaffa setting puts the flea market 450 metres away and the nearest beach 500 metres out, both easy walks for a day away from Memadion. Rooms include a seating area and a private bathroom with either a bathtub or shower, plus free toiletries, comfortable without being oversized. Various restaurants and cafes sit within a short walk, and Ben Gurion Airport is 17km away. The Old City's narrow, historic streets give a family a genuinely different Tel Aviv experience from the central beach strip.

  • Sea-view terrace
  • Old Jaffa setting
  • Near flea market

Our take

This suits families who want a sea view and Old Jaffa's atmosphere as a real contrast to the central hotel strip, and who value the flea market proximity for a non-Memadion day. Families needing a kitchen, pool or family-specific room configuration should look elsewhere, since Casa Nova's draw is setting and view rather than family-focused amenities.

  • Book a terrace-facing room specifically for the sea view, since not all rooms include the same outlook over Jaffa Port.
  • Walk to the Jaffa flea market in the morning, 450 metres away, before the midday heat sets in on a day away from Memadion.
  • Try the bathtub option if booking for a family with young kids, since it suits a quicker end-of-day wash-up better than a shower alone.

Why we love it

  • Full sea view from the terrace
  • 450 metres from the flea market
  • 500 metres from the nearest beach
  • Bathtub option in some rooms
Why guests love it

The sea view from the terrace was the first thing our kids noticed on arrival, and it stayed the highlight of the stay even after two full days at Memadion. The flea market walk became our go-to for a slower morning, and the bathtub in our room made end-of-day cleanup after the water park genuinely easier with a toddler. Old Jaffa's narrow streets took some getting used to, but the view made up for it.
