About this hotel

Hotel Eureka puts guests within a few metres of Sopot Beach, with a terrace and outdoor seating area for relaxing between water park visits. Spa facilities, a sauna and a fitness centre round out the amenities, alongside a coffee shop and family rooms for a range of group sizes. Rooms include private bathrooms, tea and coffee makers, hairdryers, refrigerators, work desks, showers, carpeted floors, TVs and electric kettles, a genuinely comprehensive standard set for a mid-range hotel. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning, and the restaurant serves European cuisine with a bar for drinks later in the day. Sopot Pier is a fifteen-minute walk, the Crooked House 1.4 kilometres away, and Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport sits eighteen kilometres from the hotel.

Our take

Hotel Eureka suits families wanting genuine beachfront access with a proper spa and fitness centre at a more moderate price than the five-star names nearby; the fifteen-minute walk to the Pier is a touch further than the most central hotels, but the beach itself is essentially at the door of the property.

  • Use the terrace and outdoor seating area for breakfast on mild mornings rather than the indoor restaurant.
  • Book the spa or sauna the evening after a full day at Aquapark Sopot for genuine recovery time.
  • Budget the fifteen-minute walk to the Pier into evening plans rather than assuming it's a five-minute stroll from the room.

Why we love it

  • Direct beachfront access, just metres from the sand
  • Spa, sauna and fitness centre on-site
  • Comprehensive in-room amenities as standard
  • Coffee shop for a lower-key morning option
Why guests love it

The beach access was the reason we booked, and it delivered, our kids could see the water from the terrace, which made the mornings we weren't heading to Aquapark Sopot feel just as worthwhile. The spa and sauna became our evening routine by day three, and the buffet breakfast had enough variety that nobody complained after a week of the same hotel.
