About this hotel

Hotel Molo puts guests right in the middle of Sopot's busiest promenade, with modern, bright rooms fitted with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Sopot Pier is a 700-metre walk, the Crooked House just 300 metres, and the nearest airport, Lech Wałęsa, sits nine kilometres away. A spa and wellness centre on-site adds a recovery option after a day of slides, and facilities for disabled guests are available. The location right on Monte Cassino Promenade means restaurants, shops and evening activity are steps away, which suits families who want to be in the middle of Sopot's action rather than a quieter side street, even if that means more foot traffic and noise outside.

Our take

Hotel Molo suits families who want to be right on the promenade, with restaurants and shops immediately outside, and don't mind trading a quieter location for that convenience; its own spa and wellness centre is a genuine bonus for a hotel at this price and location, and the airport distance stays reasonable for a late arrival.

  • Ask for a room away from the promenade-facing side if evening noise from Monte Cassino matters for early bedtimes.
  • Use the on-site spa and wellness centre the evening before an early Aquapark Sopot start.
  • Book early since the promenade-front location is one of the most requested in central Sopot during summer.

Why guests love it

Being right on Monte Cassino meant we never had to think about where dinner was, everything was outside the front door, though it did get lively in the evenings during peak summer with a young toddler trying to sleep. The spa was a nice surprise for the price point, and we used it twice after full days chasing the kids around Aquapark Sopot's pools.
