Our take
Pullman Bucharest World Trade Center suits a trip that pairs Therme București with genuine time in Bucharest itself — the fifteen-minute shuttle to the airport and five-minute drive into the centre make it a city-first base rather than a water-park-first one. The steak house and fifty-wine list are well beyond what any Otopeni aparthotel offers, at the cost of a longer drive out to Balotești each day.
- ✓Use the hotel shuttle for Henri Coandă Airport transfers rather than a taxi, given the fifteen-minute run time.
- ✓Book the Barbizon Steak House ahead if a proper dinner out matters as much as the water-park day itself.
- ✓Plan for a longer drive to Therme București than an Otopeni-based stay, since this is a city-centre business-district address.
Why we love it
- Fitness centre, sauna and massage
- Barbizon Steak House on site
- Central Bucharest location
- Airport shuttle included
Why guests love itWe split our trip between the water park and a proper Bucharest city break, and this location made the second half work — Herăstrău Park a short walk away, a real dinner at the steak house, and the shuttle handling the airport run without a taxi. The drive out to Therme București took longer than an Otopeni stay would have, which is the honest trade-off for a city-based base.
