Halley Hotel & Apartments Affiliated by Meliá
Family suites under the Melia name, priced above the rest of this batch
About this hotel
Halley Hotel & Apartments Affiliated by Meliá is a two-star, apartment-style property in Benidorm with an 8.4 average across 849 reviews. In our directory it is tagged for family suites and budget stays, and its affiliation with the Meliá brand gives some reassurance at a modest star level. Its main draw is space: apartment-style family units suit larger households or groups who want separate sleeping areas rather than everyone in one room. Because these units vary in size, I would confirm the layout and the number of beds for your group before booking, especially in high season when larger apartments go first. The walking distance to Aqualandia is not confirmed from its address, so plan on a short drive or taxi to the park. For a family that values room and a known name over resort extras, it is a sensible option.
- 8.4/10 from 849 reviews
- Two-star apartment-style property
- Family suites
- Affiliated with Meliá
Our take
Halley Hotel & Apartments is the address I would shortlist for larger families who need more than one bedroom area near Aqualandia. The family suites and the Meliá affiliation are its two strengths, and 8.4 from 849 reviews is a dependable score for a two-star property. Unit sizes vary, so I recommend confirming the layout against your group before booking, rather than assuming every apartment sleeps the same number of people.
- ✓Check the exact number of rooms or beds included in the rate before booking, since the price here suggests a multi-space family unit rather than a single room.
- ✓Compare the per-person cost against a group size, not just the nightly rate, given this is the most expensive hotel in this batch despite its budget tag.
- ✓Confirm what, if anything, the Melia affiliation adds here versus a standalone two-star property, since branding alone does not guarantee amenities.
Why we love it
- Family-suites tagged, useful for groups needing separate sleeping space
- Affiliated with the Melia name, some brand recognition at a two-star level
- A solid 8.4 rating from 849 reviews
- Likely priced per family unit rather than per single room, worth checking against group size
Why guests love itHalley Hotel & Apartments suits families who need separate sleeping space, since it is tagged for family suites and runs apartment-style units under the Meliá name. The category is simple, two stars, so I would not expect resort facilities, but the 8.4 score from 849 reviews shows guests are generally satisfied. My advice is to check the exact unit layout for your group size and to treat it as a practical base for Aqualandia and Benidorm's beaches.
