Alannia Salou
Resort pools and pet-friendly rooms
About this hotel
Alannia Salou stands out in this guide for confirming pet-friendly rooms, a rare tag among the properties near Caribe Aquatic Park, alongside a resort-style pool area and sports facilities that give the property its own water and activity offer separate from the main water park. Nine minutes by taxi from PortAventura World keeps the commute manageable for daily park visits, while the hot tub and business center round out an amenity list built for both leisure and practical needs. A short walk from central Salou's dog-walking routes makes it a workable base for a family traveling with a pet who still wants resort pools and sports facilities close to hand.

Our take
This is the clear pick for anyone traveling with a dog, alongside a genuine resort pool offer that holds up on its own merits. It's a strong fit for pet owners wanting resort extras; families without a pet may find better value at a property closer to the water park gates instead.
- ✓Confirm pet fees and any size restrictions directly with the property before booking your room.
- ✓Book early for peak season, since pet-friendly rooms are limited compared with standard inventory here.
- ✓Use the on-site sports facilities on days you're not heading out to Caribe Aquatic Park.

Why guests love itI'd book Alannia Salou first if the family dog is coming along: the rooms are pet-friendly, and the water park-style pool area, sports facilities and hot tub give everyone else plenty to do between park days. PortAventura World is about nine minutes away by taxi, so it sits just outside the resort's own hotels. Guests rate it 8 across more than 2,700 reviews, a solid score for a resort of this size.
