About this hotel

The US-192 corridor south of Walt Disney World gives Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando Kissimmee/Celebration its own name, Kissimmee and the planned town of Celebration, the opposite side of the resort area from the International Drive hotels on this Typhoon Lagoon list. Its 8.5 average from 300 reviews is a moderate sample, and it is one of only two hotels on this list tagged for free parking, alongside family suites and spa-wellness service. The Kissimmee/Celebration side runs roughly 15-20 minutes from Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, and the Fairfield Inn & Suites brand from Marriott positions it as a dependable mid-tier option rather than a resort or a villa. Even a modest sample size here still beats guessing blind on a hotel with no reviews at all.

  • 8.5/10 average from 300 reviews among these ten Typhoon Lagoon hotels.
  • Free parking, family suites and spa-wellness service, all three listed.
  • Kissimmee/Celebration corridor, roughly 15-20 minutes from Typhoon Lagoon.

Our take

Our take: free parking is the standout here, worth real money over a week if you are driving to Central Florida rather than flying, and it is a tag only this hotel and one other on this list carry. The Kissimmee/Celebration side puts you a bit further from Typhoon Lagoon than Lake Buena Vista, roughly 15-20 minutes, but closer than the I-Drive hotels. Family suites and spa-wellness round out a solid, unremarkable but dependable choice.

  • If you are road-tripping to Central Florida, the free parking tag here is worth checking against hotels that charge daily parking fees.
  • Budget 15-20 minutes to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon from the Kissimmee/Celebration side, longer than Lake Buena Vista but shorter than I-Drive.
  • Also, Book the family suite category directly for extra sleeping space after park days.

Why we love it

  • Free parking, a tag only two hotels on this list carry.
  • Beyond that, Family suites for groups wanting extra space after Typhoon Lagoon.
  • Beyond that, Spa-wellness service on site for a rest-day option.
  • Kissimmee/Celebration location, roughly 15-20 minutes from the park.
Why guests love it

We drove down from out of state, so the free parking at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Kissimmee mattered more to us than it might to a family flying in, no daily fee stacking up over a week. The family suite kept our two boys' beds separate from ours without paying resort prices. The drive to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon ran close to 20 minutes most mornings, longer than the Lake Buena Vista hotels we'd stayed at on a previous trip, but the parking savings more than made up for it. I used the spa-wellness service once, nothing fancy, but a genuine break.
