Four minutes on foot separate Hotel Parguito from Playa Parguito, and that walk is the reason to book it. The waterpark is not: Parque El Agua, about 2 km south in Sabana de El Tirano, closed in 2019-2020, was stripped during the years of abandonment and is being rebuilt by the Sunsol hotel chain, which in August 2026 projected completion for 2027. So I would treat this as a surf-beach base for families with confident swimmers and teenagers, not for parents of toddlers who want calm water. Its 9.8 rests on only 10 reviews, while Posada Villa Divina Margarita holds a 10 from 28.
